THE FUND

The Blend Fund maintained by the GIG is a managed investment fund that is run by the Global Investment Group's Investment Committee. It is our belief that by actually taking part in the Investment Decision making process, students will be able to learn from and consolidate that which they have read about in books and heard about in lectures. The Committee meets once a week to analyse market data and discuss stock picks that have been sent in by our members. With a relatively conservative attitude to risk, our aim is to develop a strong growth portfolio that will in the future be able to inject capital that can be re-invested in the organisation to further our goals of expansion.
